Meet Our Ohio Attorneys

Ohio attorneys Dan Haughey and Dennis Deters have been friends since high school and are partners in the law firm of Haughey & Deters in Oxford. Both attorneys attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

The attorneys represent people charged with criminal offenses such as DUI/OVI, underage intoxication, fake I.D. charges, drug possession, assault and domestic violence. They also represent people injured in car accidents, truck accidents, slip and fall accidents, and other types of personal injury cases.

Prior to joining Haughey & Deters, Dennis defended police departments and law enforcement as well as insurance companies. Dan Haughey is a former Butler County prosecutor and a former magistrate for Hamilton Municipal Court. He is also a professor in the business school of Miami University in Oxford. In November 2008, Dan was elected Judge for Butler County’s Area III Court.
